Protect yourself when traveling - get a personal alarm!
When
traveling in a foreign country personal security is always a concern. I try to
always carry a personal alarm if I’m moving about my own city alone, so when I
travel, I feel it’s a must to have some form of protection to keep me safe.
I also make sure that I have a door
alarm for my hotel room. You may also want to buy a motion sensor since some
hotel room doors open in the opposite direction. That way, when I’m alone in my
hotel room, I feel safe and secure.
You might not be aware of the fact
that you can now get alarms specially designed for your luggage. They come
equipped with motion sensors that go off if the receiver is a specific distance
from your bags. So if you put your bag down and walk away the alarm sounds!
