Make sure you have all you travel clothing and don't forget your swimsuit!

It’s funny.  When my husband and I go on a trip, the FIRST thing I think about is what travel clothing I’m going to bring.  My husband on the other hand packs his travel clothes about 5 minutes before the cab gets there.  I always invariably discover that I never have enough clothes, even if I pack enough for three months!

Luckily, I’ve never forgotten a swimsuit when going somewhere hot, but I have forgotten a hat.  Or that perfect pair of shoes.  Or one shoe.  I’m terrible for things like that.  Hopefully you’re not like me.

To try and make sure it never does, I suggest making a detailed list of all the clothing you want to bring when traveling.  Make sure to include each pair of shoes, all the travel apparel (pants, shorts, sarong for the beach, etc) and if you’re going somewhere hot, a hat (or hats) is a must!

If you’re going somewhere cold make sure you have winter clothing like parkas, gloves, and boots.  You don’t want to be in Alaska missing any travel gear that will keep you warm!
