I just
love rolling luggage, it makes traveling so much more convenient. Just about
any luggage you want now comes on wheels, and with such neat designs. You can
get wheeled carry on luggage, wheeled garment bags and rolling laptop bags –
just to name a few!
If
you’re going for wheeled carry on luggage, make sure that you follow the size
guidelines outlined in my carry on luggage size article. Also, for any luggage
with wheels, pack
your heaviest stuff closest to the wheels and the hinges. This will stop heavy
things from moving and causing wrinkles.
Another
great tip I’ve picked up is when shopping for any rolling luggage, look for
wheels that run on a bearing system, and are partly recessed into the body of
the bag to prevent any breakage.
Some
features to look for when shopping for wheeled luggage are soft sides and a
durable bottom. Also, an extending handle that can be folded into the body of
the bag and an optional shoulder strap are things I find essential. You can’t
always roll the luggage along.
